Warriors are powerful fighters that have dedicated their lives to perfecting their skills in battle. They are masters of close combat techniques and can use nearly any type of weapon to overpower their foes. Warriors are also skilled at protecting their allies and can redirect the blows of multiple enemies to themselves. While under attack, they can survive an onslaught of blows with the help of special defensives stances that minimize their damage.
Warriors can use one-handed swords, maces, axes, spears, two-handed swords, maces, axes, and spears, paired swords, maces, axes, and fist weapons, shields, bows, and crossbows. Warriors can be a Gibberling brawler or a Kanian champion in the League, or an Orcish brute or a Xadaganian vanquisher in the Empire.
Special Skill: “Tricky Moves” temporarily increases the Agility of the warrior.
Judging by appearance alone, the Gibberlings do not look like classic warriors. They are short and have relatively puny muscles. However, their physical weakness is more than compensated for by their agility and unusual vitality. There are numerous examples in the history of the Gibberlings where they bravely fought off foes as big as polar bears or Orcs using only their bare hands. Because this race always travels in groups of three, Gibberling brawlers are like a swarm of bees – they overwhelm their opponent and once they are fixated on their target, there is no escape.
Special Skill: “Unbreakable Armor” temporarily increases the armor of the warrior.
The art of warfare has flowed in the blood of the Kanians ever since the war against the Orcs hundreds of years ago. The champions are the backbone of their army, and are capable of using almost every weapon to defeat their foes. Driven forward by their belief in justice and desire for freedom, they will fight any enemy that threatens their way of life. The friendly rivalry among their ranks leads every champion to strive to be the best fighter possible, and the result can be clearly seen on the battlefield.
Special Skill: “Untamed Strength” temporarily increases the Strength of the warrior.
Despite their tendency to be fueled by blind rage, Orcish warriors typically fight in an organized fashion with the other members of their tribe. In fact, it is quite common to see a group of young Orcs leaving their tribe together to join the Imperial army. Most squads of brutes are usually formed of such tribal groups, and it grants them extra strength and protection in battle. However, it also encourages them to remain more faithful to their own kind rather than the Empire as a whole, but there are still many professional brutes that serve the Imperial Army on a constant and faithful basis.
Special Skill: “Renewed Tenacity” temporarily increases the warrior’s resistance to magical spells.
Despite the fact that the majority of the Imperial warriors are Orcs, there are also many Xadaganians that choose to join their ranks. Xadaganian vanquishers are distinguishable by their unequalled discipline and intense training, qualities which substitute for the Orcs’ battle rage and sheer strength. It is believed that in each Xadaganian vanquisher lives the spirit of their ancestors who managed to capture land from the greedy Kanians and found their homeland. For this reason, they are some of the most respected soldiers in the Imperial Army.
